Art is what the world is made of...

Now let me epmhasis something here, This is not my work, this is the work of the zazb from Deviant Art. I am deviant Art fan. I love all art in gernal. There is something about putting an idea on paper that is just exciting to me. I personally like this guy that zazb drew as its...just cool looking.

But I am not just putting him here to show how cool he looks. I am doing this to prove a point. I one day want to be this good. So i am posting it here as a mark to shoot for. I know its going to take years...maybe even decades to get this good. But its something i want to be good at.

I have but one quarrel with the art world. The complete lack of respect for women. Well, maybe not a complete lack of respect. I personally think that God made nothing more beautiful then women. They are his crowning creation and are very beautiful. But what gets me are artists who draw very scantily clad women or even pornographic drawings and call it art. To me it is sleeze and could be more tastefully done. But thats just what i think...

There and Back Again ...

Yes indeed I have been there and back again and then there and back. Sorry its been a while since my last post, but things have been Uber busy for me as of late. So here is the update on the Life of Drew:

Well last week around friday my old Drama teacher, Vickie Briscoe, came to me and said that she had to cut one of their actors from her upcoming (and last) play. They needed someone to fill in and so I was drafted to play the part of Lionel Toop in "See how they Run", with only a week to get all the lines and blocking down! But things went great and I was lucky to have a great cast who worked hard, had all their lines and blocking down, and we accepting of an old guy like me taking Lionel's place. The show was this past saturday and it went great. So, its kind of a bittersweet. The play was great and it was Ms. Briscoe's last one. An age has come to an end and a dynasty has died!

After that I have gotten really sick and have been struck dead for the past few days. I had a job interview for the Kadean BX and another one tomorrow at 10 am for the Risner Gym. Life moves on I guess and its all been great. This week i also have auditions for the POPs play, Beauty and the Beast. I hope I can kick this cold before I have to sing for it.
